She liked him a lot.
 
They weren't dating... yet... But she really had hoped to win him over.
 
So much so, that when she had him all alone in her house she got really excited about showing him...
 
her latest art craze: sculpting in air dry clay. 
 
"Do you want to see my creatures?!" She excitedly blurted out.
 
He, judging by the look on his face, had never been asked this before...
 
And while there was the slightest bit of hesitation, he did say that, "Sure, he would indeed like to see them."
 
So she grabbed her wooly mammoths, and dragon, and seal, and mermaid, and ostrich, and proudly lined them up on her kitchen table for him to look at.
 
"Wow, these are actually really cool," he said when she was done setting them up.
 
She beamed.
